The new Jeep Cherokee comes with a modern exterior styling package that should appeal to a wide audience. The front fascia sports the trademark Jeep seven slot grill and comes with the headlamps placed just above the bumper. The car comes with two more pair of lights with the auxiliary lamps and the fog lamps sitting above and below the headlights respectively. Those looking for a hint of flamboyance will be pleased with the DRLs and the chrome garnishing on air dam and grille.

In side profile, the car looks like a baby Grand Cherokee and this can only be a good thing. The car gets bits like silver roof rails and a set of trendy 5*2 spoke alloy wheels. Jeep hasn’t revealed the rear of the new car yet but we expect it to come with horizontally placed tail lights and number plate housing on the bumper.

Jeep also hasn’t revealed the power options but it is expected that the 2014 Jeep Cherokee will be about 45% more fuel efficient than the Liberty. Rumours have been abound that the engine options would consist of a 2.4 litre TigerShark petrol engine, a 3.2 litre Pentastar V6 petrol and a 2.0 litre diesel.

The new 2014 Jeep Cherokee has good chances of making it to Indian car market in near future.
