More 2014 Ducati Scrambler Images Pour In

Motoroids India was among the very firsts to have reported when it emerged that renowned Italian performance bike maker Ducati has trademarked the “Scrambler” moniker. Soon after, we also presented to you the concept drawing and first batch of 2014 Ducati Scrambler images, which were taken while the bike was spotted testing in Bologna. Now, what we have here with us is one of the latest 2014 Ducati Scrambler Images.

While the camouflage on the test mules prevents us from getting a good idea about the bike’s design, it does feel like the upcoming model would boast of a round fuel tank, angular upper engine and sub frame covers. These Ducati Scrambler images also show some hastily added Hypermotard parts, which of course, are a part of the  camouflage.

It is highly likely that the upcoming bike would boast of a new steel trellis frame and dual-sided aluminum swingarm. Going by these images, the bike seems to have a comfortable riding position, with a low saddle and a high set handlebar. The Ducati Scrambler would be powered by an air cooled 796cc engine that is based on that of the Monster. There also are good chances that the Scrambler would ride on 19 inch spoked wheels, a single front disc brake and a USD fork setup.

We believe that the upcoming Ducati Scrambler could be an interesting alternative to the Monster range of bikes. The Scrambler could also make a good choice for those who are ready to take their first step in the world of Ducatis. It is being expected that the upcoming Ducati Scrambler entry level model will go on sale towards late 2015. Stay tuned to Motoroids for more 2014 Ducati Scrambler images and details.
