2013 Suzuki GW250 aka Inazuma Launched in USA. India Launch Awaited

We have lost the count of the times we have reported about speculations of Suzuki India being close to launching its GW250 in our rapidly developing bike market. Sadly, there are no concrete details of the bike maker’s plans of adding the GW250 to its Indian line up of bikes. However, the recent decisions by many bike makers to launch their entry level sportsbikes in India should soon compel the boffins at Suzuki to introduce the GW250 to our bike market.

The 2013 Suzuki GW250 was today launched in the US market. Powering this bike is a 248cc, SOHC, twin cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that delivers a peak power output of 26Bhp and a max torque of 24.2Nm.The motor is coupled to a six speed gearbox.

The 2013 Suzuki GW250 weighs 182 kgs and has a fuel tank capacity of 3.5 gallons. Braking duties on the Suzuki 250cc are courtesy disc brakes at both front and rear. The GW250 borrows design cues from the much publicized Suzuki B-King, which can only be a good thing. This naked bike from Suzuki would rub shoulders with the Honda CBR250R when launched in India.
