What you can see here are images of the 2011 Nissan X-Trail SUV. The 2011 model is a facelifted version of the current vehicle and will go on sale in Japan on the 16th of July. The refreshed model gets a redesigned front grille, new front and rear bumpers, a redesigned set of headlights and LED taillights. On the inside the 2011 X-Trail has a redesigned instrumentation with larger dials and a new information display system. Technically, the 2011 model gets a new version of the ‘Hill Descent Control’ which now features a speed-setting function.
Essentially, the X-Trail sold in Japan is the same model that is exported to Europe and other markets like India. So there is a fair chance that this car will come to India as well, since the X-Trail sold here is an import and not manufactured locally. But since the facelifted model too will have to undergo the ARAI procedures, expect an early 2011 launch for the SUV. In the meantime, Nissan will continue to sell the X-Trail with the current body kit itself.
