Young motorcycle racing enthusiasts in India now have a new way to learn the sport from an early age. TVS Motor Company has introduced the Apache Junior Programme, giving children between 10 and 14 years a chance to train on a real racing motorcycle in a safe and professional environment. The company has also handed over 10 specially developed Apache RR 200 Mini motorcycles to the Madras Motor Sports Club (MMSC), where the training programme will take place.
The sessions will be conducted at the Madras International Karting Arena (MIKA). Young participants will be guided by experienced instructors along with TVS Racing riders, helping them understand racing skills, discipline and safe riding practices.

He added that competitive racing under FMSCI rules starts from the age of 15, so the new programme gives younger riders the opportunity to build their skills before entering official racing competitions.
He also said the Apache RR 200 Mini and expert coaching at MIKA will help create a stronger base for the next generation of Indian racing talent.
