Audi India has taken their sports cars to the Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida, for the 2016 Season of the Audi Sportscar Experience (ASE) program. The oprogram is said to be first of its kind driving program in India to be conducted with Audi’s performance sports cars that provides enthusiasts an opportunity to understand, drive and experience the company’s sports cars. The ASE event was launched in 2012, the event now offers the Audi S5 Sportback, Audi TT Coupé, RS 6 Avant, and the RS 7 Sportback for the experience drive. Internationally, the event is conducted on race tracks at Barcelona, the Nürburgring, the EuroSpeedway Lausitz, the Salzburgring, Dubai and in Spa, Belgium.
The Audi Sportscar Experience is a two phase program – the Audi Sportscar Experience and Audi Sportscar Experience Advanced. The Audi Sportscar Experience program focuses on the driver’s skills like steering, handling, braking and sector training on a race-track. These participating drivers are assisted by internationally acclaimed instructors. The sector training helps the driver to get acquainted with all of the features of a racetrack. It aids them to work out the racing line one bit at a time, before they proceed to tackle the entire circuit.
The Advanced version of the program concentrates more on understanding the racing line, over and under steering and regularity tests to master the entire race circuit. This exclusive program promises the ultimate in dynamic performance and fun at the wheel. The program is said to be specially designed to equip enthusiasts with proper driving techniques for the road and the racetrack. Over 2000 customers have participated in this program since its inception in India.
