The all-new, 2016 Toyota Fortuner has received the DC Lounge treatment, and it sure looks good.
Modifications to the exterior include chunky body cladding on the fenders, doors and bumpers. The cladding strengthens the visual brawn of the Fortuner even more.

Once inside, you’ll be forgiven for thinking that you’re inside a private jet. The standard, 7-seat layout has been ditched, and in place of the last two rows you get a pair of sprawling, executive seats that can recline till they put you to blessed sleep. The seats even have a couple of integrated reading lamps, and of course, individual arm rests.
There’s a full-sized partition that separates your business from the driver’s, while the complete entertainment package that includes a LED TV can be controlled via a touch controller between the rear seats. The 5-star ambience is further enhanced by a customised colour palette, hints of chrome trim, and more upmarket trim pieces like expensive-looking wood finishes.
The prices of this modification are yet to be announced, but it’d be safe to assume that the whole package will easily cost around INR 5 – 8 lakhs over the sticker price of a Fortuner.
