Range Rover 3.0 TDV6 Launched in India @ INR 1.44 Crores

Land Rover India, the Indian subsidiary of the Tata Group owned British SUV maker, has launched a new engine variant of its new 2013 Range Rover SUV. The popular SUV is now available in two diesel engine variants and the latest diesel motor to make it to the premium SUV is a 3 Litre turbocharged diesel engine that has a V6 cylinder layout. The V6 oil burner has a max power output of 258bhp and a peak torque output of 600Nm. The 3 Litre turbo diesel motor comes mated to an 8 speed automatic gearbox that transmits power to all four wheels.

The 2013 Range Rover with the 3.0 litre diesel engine is available in two trim levels- HSE and Vogue. The HSE is priced at INR 1.44 Crores and the Vogue is priced at INR 1.64 Crores. The Range Rover comes to us via CBU route. The new Range Rover 3.0 TDV6 has a top speed of 210kmph and can dismiss 100 Kmph from standstill in 7.9 seconds. The new Range Rover has a combined fuel economy figure of 11.8 Kmpl.

The 2013 Range Rover SUV is now on sale in three engine variants: the new 3.0 litre V6 diesel, a 4.4 Litre V8 turbo diesel engine and a 5 Litre supercharged V8 petrol engine. The larger 4.4 Liter turbo diesel motor has a max power of 339 Bhp and a peak torque figure of 700 Nm. As for the petrol motor, it has a max power output of 510 Bhp and a peak torque figure of 625 Nm. All the engine variants of the new Range Rover come equipped with the 8 speed automatic transmission.
