Welcome to petrol-head paradise. This might look like a museum, but it’s actually a private collection from Chennai. The owner of these beauties and the beautiful space is the founder of Madras Exotic Car Club, an association dedicated to rounding up a number of exotic car owners in the city and then organising drives, events etc. But let’s get back to this space. The beauty of it lies in the fact that the discerning owner has gone ahead and built a living space around the cars he loves the most – his cars.
The collection includes Italian belles like the Ferrari F430, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4, and the brand spanking new Ferrari 488 GTB. The lone German in the stable is the beautiful Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, that rubs shoulders with its Italian rivals, and occasionally uses its famed ‘gull wing’ doors to alarm them. What’s more, the garage cum living space is also sprinkled with rare Amalgam scale models and Ferrari F1 memorabilia that accentuate the space’s theme.

The scale model collection includes collectable Ferrari models like the legendary 250 GTO, the iconic F40 and the superlative LaFerrari. F1 memorabilia like the front nose and rear wing from Rubens Barrichello’s Ferrari F1 car, along with the exhaust system from Michael Schumacher’s F1 car also adorn the white walls.
