What happens when hatchbacks are tired of their rather diminutive positioning in the car pyramid? They go shopping for a larger pair of shoes which make them look taller, some neon coloured adventure gear, apply some army camouflage on their cuddly faces and get ready to crossover into SUV territory. Joining the Fiat Avventura, Toyota Etios Cross and the Volkswagen Cross Polo, who are all living a struggling immigrant life on the other side, a new entrant, the new Hyundai i20 Active will attempt to replicate its hatchback version’s success story in unknown territory.
