Hyundai Venue Facelift Variants Explained

Hyundai is known to spoil its customer with choices when it comes to variants and options in their cars and the recently launched Venue facelift is no different. With a total of 5 variants, 3 powertrains and 4 transmission choices, the Hyundai Venue has something for everyone. Let’s break down the variants and take a look at the features that you get in the Venue facelift:

E

The base E variant is offered exclusively with the 1.2-liter NA petrol engine. In terms of safety, it gets dual airbags, central locking, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX mounts. The exterior comes with halogen headlamps, dark chrome grille, 15-inch steel wheels and front and rear skid plates. The interior gets a dual tone black and griege theme, fabric seats, tilt steering wheel, front power windows and front USB C type charger.

Price: ₹7.53 lakh

S

The S variant is also offered only with the 1.2-liter NA petrol engine. It adds ESC, BAS, VSM, HAC, automatic headlights, TMPS, a foldable key, rear defogger with timer, roof rails, a shark fin antenna, a digital cluster, 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, voice recognition, 6 speakers, steering mounted audio controls, rear power windows, rear A/C vents, front centre armrest with storage and rear USB C type ports.

Price: ₹8.70 lakh

S(O)/S+

The S+ variant is offered with the 1.2-liter petrol and 1.0-liter turbo petrol in the iMT and DCT guise. On the other hand, the diesel engine variant is called the S+. It gets LED projector headlamps with cornering function and LED DRLs, connecting LED taillamps, turn indicator on ORVMs, 16-inch DT styled wheels( 1.0 T and 1.5 diesel only), a D cut steering wheel( DCT only), leather wrapped steering and gear knob( DCT only), height adjustable driver’s seat, reverse parking camera, drive mode select and paddle shifters( DCT only), cruise control (1.0 T only), rear wiper and washer (1.0 T only) and rear parcel tray(1.2 NA and 1.0 T only).

1.2 petrol:₹ 9.50 lakh, 1.0 turbo-petrol iMT:₹9.99 lakh, 1.0 turbo-petrol DCT: ₹ 10.69 lakh, S+ 1.5 diesel: 9.99 lakh

SX

The SX variant comes with the 1.2-liter NA petrol and 1.5-liter diesel. It gets keyless entry with push button start/stop, a burglar alarm( 1.2 P only), 16-inch diamond cut alloys( 1.5 diesel only), adjustable rear headrests, 2-step reclining seat with 60:40 function. The 1.2 P gets an 8-inch HD screen with Bluelink, sounds of nature, Home to car (H2C) with Alexa & Google Voice Assistant, OTA updates and wired Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The diesel variant continues with the standard screen and wireless smartphone connectivity. Other features include remote engine start(1.5 diesel only), electric sunroof, automatic climate control, auto folding mirrors, puddle lamps, wireless smartphone charger, glovebox cooling, cruise control( 1.5 diesel only), rear centre armrest with cupholder and luggage lamp.

1.2 petrol: 10.69 lakh, 1.5 diesel: 11.42 lakh

SX(O)

The top end SX(O) variant is available with the 1.5-liter diesel and 1.0-liter turbo petrol in the iMT and DCT guise. It gets 6 airbags, chrome door handles, an 8-inch HD screen with Bluelink, sounds of nature, Home to car (H2C) with Alexa & Google Voice Assistant, OTA updates and wired Android Auto and Apple Carplay, 4 way electrically adjustable driver’s seat and air purifier.

1.0 turbo-petrol iMT: ₹11.92 lakh, 1.0 turbo-petrol DCT:₹ 12.57 lakh, 1.5 diesel:₹12.32 lakh

Powertrain

The Venue facelift continues to offer the same powertrain options as before. The naturally aspirated 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine churns out 83ps and 114nm of torque. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.5-liter diesel churns out 100ps and 250nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The turbocharged 1.0-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine produces 120ps and 172nm of torque. It gets the option of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and a 6-speed iMT.
