Mahindra showcased their FIA Formula E Race car at the Auto Expo 2014.

The race car will be used by the Mahindra team when the FIA Formula E Championship kicks off in September this year. This car is around the same size as a traditional F3 racing car, and is powered by an electric motor which produces a maximum output of around 200KW (270 bhp), enabling the car to reach a top speed of 225 kmph.
The Formula E Championship will have a total of 10 races throughout the year, and we will have to wait to see how the car performs.
Along with this, Mahindra also showcased the diesel electric hybrid XUV500 and the Halo electric sportcar concept.
