If this rendering from the good chaps at Carobka is anything to by, the upcoming Lada B-Segment sedan could look close to the car you can see in the lead image above. The upcoming car, which has been internally named as the Lada 2180, is currently in road-testing stages and is sometime away from making its public debut.
The upcoming Lada 2180 sedan is basically a Priora-replacement and it is being said that this sedan is still more than a year away from entering into production. The Lada 2180 sedan is a part of company’s upcoming new model onslaught and is one of the five upcoming models. The other four cars here include two crossovers, an SUV and a hatchback.
The Lada 2180 Priora replacement will be underpinned by a new platform and only a small margin of components will be carried over from the Priora’s platform. .Dimensionally, the 2180 would quite close to the car it is bound to replace. The Priora measures 4,350 mm in length, 1,680 mm in width, 1,420 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,492 mm.
As of now, there is no information on engine and other mechanical components.
However, it is being said that the car will go on sale in two body variants- Sedan and an Estate/Station Wagon.
The upcoming Lada B-segment sedan (codename- 2180) will be manufactured at AvtoVAZ’s Togliatti facility in Russia.
