Isuzu Motors India, the Japanese automaker has now upgraded its entire range of vehicles with BS6 Phase 2 compliant engines. Furthermore, the company has added certain new features to the models, along with a few cosmetic changes. These changes in the pickup trucks and the SUV also come with price revisions by the company.

All of Isuzu’s vehicles had 7 colours on offer but now there’s also a new ‘Valencia Orange’ that has been made available across the portfolio.
Engines & Other Mechanicals

The Isuzu D-Max V-Cross, Hi-Lander, and mu-X use the same 1.9-litre turbo diesel motor which develops 163bhp and 360Nm of torque. To meet the stricter RDE regulations, the three have been equipped with an idle start-stop system, low-friction tyres, and a transmission fluid warmer for the automatic transmission-equipped versions of all models.
The Hi-Lander comes with a sole six-speed MT and the mu-X with the six-speed AT. The V-Cross however, gets the option of both the MT as well as the AT.

Isuzu D-Max V-Cross, Hi-Lander & mu-X Updates
Most of the feature upgrades have come for the V-Cross pickup in its Z 4X2 automatic variant, while the Hi-Lander and mu-X barely get any changes. Apart from the BS6 phase 2 engine, the D-Max V-Cross now gets a chrome surround for its fog lamps, gloss black alloy wheels, new ORVMs having a dark grey colour cap alongwith integrated indicators, the updated interior now comes with dark brown inserts on multiple places including the seat upholstery.

The V-Cross can be had in either a 2WD or 4WD guise. A six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission is on offer. The V-Cross also gets new safety features like cruise control, traction control, electronic stability control (ESC), hill descent control (HDC), and hill-start assist (HSA).
The mu-X only gets a minor revision to its front in the form of a chrome grille. However, the Hi-Lander pickup truck sees an addition to its feature list in the form of an automatic climate control and a rear defogger.

Pricing
The updated V-Cross comes priced at Rs 22.99 lakh for the 2WD entry-level variant, while the Hi-Lander costs Rs 19.50 lakh. The mu-X on the other hand has a starting price of Rs 34.99 lakh.
