2013 Hyundai Grand Santa Fe Headed to Geneva Motor Show

2013 Hyundai Grand Sante Fe

On display at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show will be the new Hyundai Grand Santa Fe. The more spacious variant of the Santa Fe is headed to European countries and will be as big as the U.S.-spec three-row Santa Fe that was showcased at the Los Angeles Auto Show in late 2012.

The Grand Santa Fe is 10mm taller, 5mm wider and 225mm longer than the standard Euro-spec Santa Fe and has wheelbase which is longer by 100mm. Thanks to the long wheelbase, the Grand Santa Fe has segment leading 607-litres of boot space and can be bought with six or seven seat setup.

The engine on duty will be a 2.2-liter common rail diesel engine with a max power output of 197 HP. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox which results in a low CO2 emission figure of 192 g/km. The car will ride on 18 or 19 inch alloys and is not just visually longer but also sports a new grille, new front bumper, different fog lights and slightly different rear end styling.
