Bajaj Auto, brings a concept of speed biking called the Festival of Speed in Delhi. Touted as one of India’s first speed biking festival, the festival was hosted at Leisure Valley, Concrete ground, Sector 29, in Gurgaon. The event started at 2 pm gave Pulsar customers a chance to indulge in professional track racing for an ultimate biking experience.

Apart from races, the festival offered skateboarding, bicycle motocross, stunt shows, DJ performances, live concert and more. While the races were open for all 200cc and above Pulsar customers, 6 Pulsar RS200 customers chosen for the final face off to be held at MMRT, Chennai.

The festival will also travel to Hyderabad (hosted on 5th March), Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai and Chennai with 36 finalists (6 from each city) to compete for the grand finale after undergoing a full day of training from the experts on the Madras Motor Race Track, Chennai on 16th April. The winner of the grand finale will be awarded with the first Pulsar Cup along with prize money of Rs. 1 Lakh.

Commenting on this new initiative, Sumeet Narang, Vice President – Marketing, Bajaj Auto, said, “Pulsar is the market leader in sports segment and it’s our endeavour to evolve the landscape and keep raising the bar of customer engagement. Conceptualizing India’s first speed biking festival is another such offering for the sports biking enthusiast in the country. He further went on to add, “We hope to physically involve & engage over 40,000 riders / enthusiasts across the country through the mega show this year. More than speed, Pulsar is also about adrenaline and fun and hence the festival has been so designed.”
