With a front end that looks like that, you better run for cover.
The Mercedes GL is a pretty imposing car in its own right, but with Larte Design’s Black Crystal package, things become borderline insane. The Germany based tuner’s package includes this brutal body-kit, as you can see, and a slight re-tune.
The kit adds gangling new bumpers styled that defy geometry, flared arches, skirts, a new spoiler, extra air intakes, fenders, new exhaust system with quad carbon tail-pipes, overlays on doors/sills, a splattering of external carbon elements, and bigger wheels wrapped with fatter rubber.
Furthermore, the front end is characterized by a massive, re-designed grille with the studio’s logo,  and additional rows of LED daytime running lights. Based on a GL 350 CDI, the re-tune now sees it pack 290 hp of power and 510 lb-ft of torque.
Though Larte Design is primarily an Infiniti and Range Rover loving brand, this is the first time they’ve gone to work on a Mercedes, and results are pretty awesome. The Black Crystal GL was first showcased at last year’s Essen Auto Show.
