Joel Zimmerman, aka Deadmau5’s dream is to fly over a rainbow that is experiencing a high. After Ferrari slashed his wings for letting a cat go crazy with crayons on his 458 Italia and calling it a ‘Purrari’, he went out and bought himself a McLaren 650 S Spider. Nissan is now offering the freefalling EDM artist with a parachute in the form of a Nyan cat themed GT-R. Nissan tweeted at deadmau5 that they have a brand new GT-R with a Nyan Cat wrap, all ready to go ‘Meow’.
Joel Thomas Zimmerman, better known by his stage name deadmau5 (pronounced “dead mouse”), is a Canadian progressive-house music producer and performer from Toronto, Ontario. He had wrapped his Ferrari 458 Spider in a Nyan Cat theme, the name of a YouTube video, uploaded in April 2011, which became an Internet meme. The video merged a Japanese pop song with an animated cartoon cat with the body of a Pop-Tart, flying through space, and leaving a rainbow trail behind it. We wonder if he called the hallucinating Italian beauty a ‘Purrari’, what would he call the Godzilla?
