Both Petrol and Diesel models will be available in four trims:
Era – Rs. 4.89 lah
Magna – Rs. 5.42 lakh
Sportz – 4.94 Lakh
Asta – 6.47 lakh

Two Engine options will be available, both mated to manual gearboxes:
- Diesel: A 1396 cc, DOHC, CRDI, Diesel engine that develop 90 ps of power and 224 Nm of torque. Operates at a high pressure of 1800 bars and is capable of good low-end torque. Will boast of an ARAI rated 22.4 kmpl efficiency figure
- Petrol: A 1197 cc, Dual VTVT, Kappa Petrol Engine which develops 83 ps of power and 117 Nm of torque. Boasts of an ARAI rated efficiency figure of 18.60 Kmpl
- The Diesel version gets a 6-speed gearbox, while the Petrol motor is mated to a 5-speed Manual box. No auto option available at launch
Suspension, Brakes and Rubber:
- Front: McPherson strut with coil spring
- Rear: Coupled torsion beam axle with coil spring, gas-filled shock absorbers
- Disc setup at the front and drum brakes at the rear

Looks best in the class. Also with best (costliest) in the class price.
Diesel seems better on paper – and will mostly be the case. The best part for me – good low end torque. Always found it to be an issue with i20 – especially in city. Hate to lower the gear.
