Mumbai dealership offers the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 with custom paintjobs

The new Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has had Bajaj’s cash registers singing ever since it was launched earlier this year. If anything that Bajaj’s most poweful motorcycle lacks in terms of visuals is a wider colour palette. The RS200 is offered with just two color schemes – Red and Yellow, both on a Black background with White highlights. This leaves a lot of opportunities for after-market paint-jobs, some at the dealership level itself.

A Mumbai dealership, Executive Bajaj, is offering a couple of customized colour options for the Bajaj Pulsar RS200. One involves toxic green streaks on a yellow RS200, generating a quad tone color scheme! The other one is more tastier, and features yellow streaks over a matte black background, with white highlights. We think that the latter looks pretty mean.

These custom paint-jobs command a premium of INR 15,000 over the cost of the motorcycle, and come with a waiting period of 10 days, along with an additional 1 year warranty. One more colour scheme is also expected to join shortly.

Mechanically, the RS200 is powered by a 199.5cc, liquid cooled, four valve, DTS-i Triple Spark Engine, which develops 24.5 PS@ 9750 rpm and 18.3Nm of torque. The top-end, ABS equipped variant retails for INR 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

To find out how the RS200 performs, read our track review here, and our city review here. A Black and Gold colour scheme had also been spotted earlier, but its unclear whether its a custom job or a limited edition by Bajaj.

  1. The graphics have been designed for the yellow vehicle. The same, when applied on Black and Green vehicles make the Pulsar RS200 look uglier than it already is.
Should have been something far more restrained and of course, custom-made.
