The motoring enthusiasts are in for a big treat and when we say big, we mean it. The new season of Top Gear is all ready to roll and just a few days ago the first ever trailer of the upcoming show was aired. While the new hosts are backed with an arsenal of automobiles, glitches, and starry tantrums for their new show, ex- Top Gear hosts and now rivals aren’t far behind. However, there seems to be a problem. Jeremy, Richard, and James have not yet got a name for their new show on Amazon Prime! The problem is made public by Amazon UK by releasing a video of Clarkson, Hammond & May brainstorming names for their new show that will be out in Autumn 2016.
The video shows a ‘somewhere in London ‘ location, where the trio is sitting in a room and trying to narrow down a name for their new show. These guys come up with weird and funny name suggestions. Hammond comes up with the first – he wants to call the show ‘Automate’. May contributes with ‘Tripod’ and ‘Clarkson, Hammond and May car show on Amazon’ and Clarkson is in his own weird world and suggests – ‘Selling England by the Pound’ , ‘Watcher of the skies’ and ‘A small puddle of excellence’.
We all know that this is just a marketing gimmick but it is a good way of keeping the audience locked in anticipation. Once the wheels of promotional events start up, the folks at Amazon and the ex-Top Gear trio will go all out to put their show a notch up their rivals. While the new Top Gear host was reportedly throwing up while shooting for his show, Jeremy Clarkson was busy bleeding his nose out while performing the most dangerous stunt for his new show. The new Amazon show is also promoted with an interestingly long hashtag – #TheStillVeryMuchUntitledClarksonHammond
