It is party time for the folks at TVS Motor Company as one of their products has managed to pull off a huge feat for the company. With 9 months of its launch in India, the TVS Victor has bumped up the company’s market share close to 8% in overall motorcycle segment in India. TVS sold 1 lakh units of the Victor and with this success the company sees a better future. TVS Motor expects to attain 10-12% market share in the domestic motorcycle market in the next 2 years with TVS Victor expected to the major growth driver.
The 2016 TVS Victor has been updated with a new style, improved engine and performance. It draws power from a 3-valve Eco thrust engine that is fitted in a single cradle tubular frame. This 109.7cc unit is good for making 12.8hp at 7500 rpm and a torque of 9.4 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The power is pushed to the rear wheel by a 4-speed constant mesh gearbox. The company claims that the Victor can do 76 km per litre of petrol.
The TVS Victor is available in six colours with contrasting graphics including Red, Black Red, Black Silver, Grey, and Silver & Blue. The drum brake variant is priced at INR 50,715 and the disc brake variant sells for INR 52,715 (Ex-showroom price in Delhi).
