Tata Hexa Pulling Boeing

VIDEO: Watch This Tata Hexa Pull A Boeing 737 With Ease

Aircraft get taxied all the time. But by specialised vehicles built to do just that. So when you get your passenger vehicle with registration plates, climate control and generous seating for six people to so the same, you’ve got a great PR stunt. And of course, a good vehicle.

Watch this video where the new Tata Hexa becomes Superman and pulls a 66-ton (approx.) Boeing 737 aircraft for more than 30 meters at least. And it does so with the ease of a toaster toasting bread. Airports around the world – you’ve got a new taxiing vehicle.

The Hexa makes it look easy because of its torque – a generous 400 Nm of it, available from as low as 1,700 rpm. To put things in perspective, that’s more than what the new Porsche 718 Cayman, a proper sports car, makes.

It seems like Tata Motors picked a leaf from JLR’s marketing department for this stunt, as pulling heavy stuff  worked rather well to showcase the new Land Rover Discovery’s capabilities:  VIDEO: Watch a Land Rover Discovery Sport pull a 100 tonne train
