The petrol unit is not as potent as the ones powering the Macan S diesel and the Turbo but is capable of keeping the ride interesting by whipping a 252 Hp between 5,000 and 6,800 rpm. A peak torque of 370Nm kicks in between 1,600 and 4,500 rpm. The seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) dual-clutch transmission will assist the power to all four wheels. The new bespoke power-plant will help the Macan to perform the 0-100 kmph sprint in 6.7 seconds and a top speed of 229 kmph.
