What stays the same

Both scooters use Yamaha’s 125cc air cooled engine. It makes 8bhp and 10.3Nm and works with a CVT gearbox. The scooters also get Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator, which helps with silent starts, stop start operation and power assist.

Other common equipment includes:

  • 21 litre under seat storage
  • Smartphone connectivity
  • Side stand engine cut off
  • LED headlights
  • Telescopic front suspension
  • E20 compatibility
  • Front disc brake on disc variants

The RayZR and Fascino are still light scooters aimed at everyday city use. Their simple engines and familiar layouts make them easy to live with.
