This one has a monocoque carbon fibre chassis, an original Lamborghini exhaust system with passive shock absorber system and a Lamborghini badge on it! At a price of USD 24,200 (approx INR 16.5 Lakhs), this docking station is to die for. Automobili Lamborghini and iXOOST put their team together to create this one of a kind carbon fibre docking station speaker. Designed by Mirco Pecorari – Owner and chief designer at AircraftStudioDesign, the guy says that the ESOVOX is Not designed for all, but aimed at those who nurture a real passion for the Lamborghini.
On the visual front the ESAVOX’s design is based on single block cabinets in carbon and wood, reminiscent of the features of Lamborghini cars. Each part of the audio system has been hand crafted out of monocoque chassis in carbon fiber. Its central element is the original exhaust that gives the impression of a real car.
The construction of the ESAVOX consists of monocoque chassis in carbon Twill 245 3k, polymerised in autoclave at 6 bar, exhaust system with variable aperture to control pressure of the sub woofer, passive shock absorber system to dampen vibrations and tapered supports with variable height.
In the two side cabinets house a 6.5-inch full range speaker and 8-inch woofer in carbon fibre and are handmade with a hexagonal form. At the centre of the unit lies a down firing 15inchNeodymium subwoofer with high sensitivity. Two 1-inch tweeters in Mylar complete the system, located inside the original exhaust unit.
Other inclusions are two stereo valve preamplifiers on input, an amplifier of 600 Watt and one of 200 Watt dedicated to the subwoofer. Frequency control is managed by 2 DSPs of 24 bit to optimise audio filtering.
