A few days back, we reported about Volvo S60 Polestar Concept being unveiled. Now, the stunning sedan says hi to the public at the ongoing LA Auto Show 2012.
The Polestar gets more power than the vanilla S60 and this owing to a Garret turbocharger that has been bolted on to the motor. Hence, we are looking at some 508 hp- 424 pound-ft power and torque figures and the Polestar Volvo S60 concept is capable of dismissing 100kmoh from 0 in less than 3.9 seconds. Stopping power come courtesy 6 piston Brembos on front discs and the car’s chassis has been given reinforcement along with upgraded Haldex AWD system for a superb handling package. The Polestar S60 is lighter by 204 pounds. On the inside, the car gets Alcantara leather among other ‘premium’ bits.
