The vehicle features the same 9-inch portrait infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Powertrain, Launch and Rivals

It is expected that the upcoming Volvo C40 Recharge will have the same 78kWh battery pack as in XC40 Recharge. However, due to tweaks in its aerodynamic design, the vehicle will have a slightly higher WLTP claimed range of 530km. The vehicle is propelled by a sporty twin-motor and an AWD system. This results in an impressive output of 408PS and 660Nm and 0-100 in 4.7 seconds.

The vehicle supports a 150kW fast charging which can charge the vehicle from 10% to 80% in 27 mins. The carmaker has slated the launch of the C40 Recharge in August 2023 with no direct rivals. However, it will take on other rivals such as Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, BMW i4 and Volvo XC40 Recharge.
