Group Landmark-owned Volkswagen dealerships in Gujarat reached the milestone of getting their name in the Asia Book of Records (ABR) and India Book of Records (IBR) for ‘maximum single model Volkswagen vehicles sold by a dealer in a single day. The officials of ABR & IBR handed over the certificate for the record to Garima Misra, Managing Director, Group Landmark and the ceremony was held in New Delhi. Volkswagen began the deliveries of Virtus last month. While on the first day of delivery, 21st June 2022, the company delivered over 165 units of the all-new Volkswagen Virtus across Gujarat.

About Volkswagen Virtus
Volkswagen launched this luxury sedan in June 2022. The front of this car features a thin grille with chrome outlines on the top and bottom, merged into the LED DRLs of the LED headlights which form a C-shape. It gets 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear has blacked-out LED taillamps and a chrome element on the lower half of the bumper. While the interior features a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay. It also comes with 8 speakers as standard. Other features include automatic climate control, a reverse parking camera, an 8-inch virtual cockpit display, auto headlamps, auto wipers, auto-dimming inside rearview mirror, auto-folding mirrors, wireless charging, ventilated seats, electric sunroof, cruise control, and keyless entry with push-button start. The boot space is rated at 521 liters.
The Virtus offers two petrol engines which come with idle start/stop technology. The turbocharged 1.0-liter 3-cylinder TSI engine provides 115 hp and 178 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. And Another is a turbocharged 1.5-liter 4-cylinder TSI engine which delivers 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission.
