Volkswagen India commenced the sales of its cars through all the master and subsidiary canteens of Central Police Canteen. All the Central Armed Police Forces personnel (BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles) along with other Central Security Agencies employees (RPF, IB, SPG, NCRB, NIA and all State Police Organizations) can now avail Volkswagen cars and additional benefits such as priority delivery and tax exemptions in select states.
Central Police Canteens (CPC) currently operates with 119 master Canteens and 1500+ subsidiary canteens across India. Through this network of CPC, Volkswagen will sell its recently launched India specific Ameo along with all other models.
Speaking on the occasion, Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, said that they are extending their product offerings to the security personnel through the CPC. This move is another milestone in their commitment towards providing customers with the option to choose one of the safest cars available in India.
