Ahead of the highly anticipated launch of the upcoming Bajaj Dominar (CS400 > VS400 > Kratos > Dominar), a test mule of the model has been spotted yet again. Spied during what could be a few final runs ahead of its launch that is likely to take place in December this year, the model is being chased by none other than its younger sibling, the Pulsar RS200. The rider of the test mule doesn’t seem to have noticed the RS200 following him and has hence, maintained a steady pace for the latter.

This is not the first time the Dominar, which will be the flagship model of the company, has been caught testing on video. It has starred in quite a few POV videos in the last couple of months, while revealing some features of the motorcycle. Speaking of features, the model will retain more or less the same design as seen on the concept during the 2014 Auto Expo, with the only exception being the conventional telescopic suspension up-front as opposed to the USD forks.

Power for the upcoming Dominar will be drawn from a 373cc liquid cooled petrol motor that will be tuned to produce 35 hp at 8000 rpm. This power would be reigned with the help of a six speed transmission. A few other highlights of the model will include full LED headlamps (a first for an Indian motorcycle), ABS (likely to be an optional feature), a split, fully digital instrument cluster and a mono shock suspension at the rear. Once launched, the Dominar could command a price tag in the range of INR 1.5 lakh to INR 1.8 lakh.
