Triumph India, through one of its social media channels, has teased one of its upcoming motorcycles, the Bonneville Bobber. The motorcycle is expected to be launch by the end of March or early April, 2017. Triumph India has not revealed any launch date, the teaser video shared by the company reveals that the launch is imminent.
The Triumph Bonneville Bobber, based on Triumph’s Bonneville range of motorcycles, is powered by a 1200cc parallel twin engine. This motor is tuned to develop 76 bhp at 6100 rpm and 106 NM of torque at 4000 rpm. Transmission duties are taken care of by a six speed gearbox that sends power to the rear wheel.

Based on a new frame designed specifically to cater to the short dimensions and solo seat design of the traditional bobber, the motorcycle features design cues such as a circular headlight, single seat setup, flat handle-bar with bar end mirrors and a slash cut design exhaust.
Feature wise, the Triumph Bonneville Bobber comes equipped with Ride-By-Wire, ABS, switchable traction control and ride modes. A few other highlights of the Bonneville Bobber include an exposed rear monoshock suspension, single disc brake setup at the front and rear. Triumph India is also likely to offer a range of customization options. Stay tuned for updates.
