If you have been to Punjab you must have definitely seen those modified with those oversized wheels and bling alloys. Now, a 23 year old student from Patiala, Punjab has gone ahead and made a roadster using wood.
Amandeep Singh, a Patiala resident got this idea of building a car using wood two years ago. With little carpentry experience and no history working with cars, he and his father worked together in building ths roadster. The mechanical parts have been used from a Maruti Suzuki 800.
According to Amandeep, this car is his daily driver and has clocked 20,00o kms on the odometer. Despite being made of wood, the car can reach a speed of 120 kmph.
