VIDEO: Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Sets A Unique New Nurburgring Record

If you’ve been a regular follower, you would’ve seen various record runs in the past but this time Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo has sets a unique one. The German car towed a Moetefindt trailer (the FTP235), loaded with a Porsche Junior 108 tractor, across the legendary race track to set a new world record. The Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo completed the record run in 12 minutes and 6 seconds. Check out the video below:

Just in case you were wondering, the Panamera Turbo Sport Turismo uses a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 delivering 542hp of power. The Sport Turismo also gets all the Panamera’s technological prowess, like the digital Porsche Advanced Cockpit, adaptive cruise control, rear axle steering, and the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC Sport) electronic roll stabilisation system.

In addition, all Panamera Sport Turismo vehicles are equipped with Porsche Traction Management (PTM) – an active all-wheel drive system with electronically controlled multi-plate clutch – as standard. As of the S models, adaptive air suspension with three-chamber technology is also supplied as standard.
