This new Mercedes-AMG GT rides on an aluminium space frame that ensures the weight is kept in check. Mercedes say the car will have a ‘Muscular’ infinite front end and an amazingly beautiful rear. The car will feature a new twin-turbo 4.0 litre V8 engine that develops 510 bhp at 6,250 rpm and 650 Nm of torque. This very engine could also do duty in the C63 AMG in its various guises.
Mercedes-AMG feels the new GT will set new trends as they are confident fielding their new car in an intensely competitive field. They say that the car is an all-rounder being extremely sporty, however can also be the owners everyday drive. The Mercedes-AMG GT goes on sale in March 2015.
