People go to any length to achieve a world record. Many people have tried making long jumps with their cars and bikes till date. Now, here is the video of such an attempt.
Frenchman Guerlain Chicherit decided to make a long jump using his modified Mini. He wanted to make a world record with this jump. But alas, things didn’t work out as planned and his Mini nosedived sharply on the landing which made the car to flip and cart wheel multiple times at a high speed.

Guerlain was lucky to escape with only minor injuries. Even after this failed attempt and injuries, his determination for the record is alive. The current record for the longest jump is held by Tanner Foust at 332 feet which he did with a 360 foot jump in his modified Mini Countryman rally car.
