VIDEO: Listen to the bare vocals of the new Ducati V4 Superbike as it screams around a racetrack

September 7th is the day when Ducati says it will reveal the Sound of a new Era. We’re almost certain that it could very well be an announcement for the new Ducati V4 Superbike, which will be based on the bike maker’s 1000cc Liquid-cooled, 90° V4, desmodromic DOHC motor that also pushes their MotoGP machine. The road going motorcycle which is being propelled by this new motor doesn’t appear to be much different than the outgoing 1299 Panigale but that’s probably to keep finer details under wraps till Ducati tests the new V4 engine. The chassis would undergo some modifications to accommodate the bigger motor and the Ducati V4 test mule was equipped with an underbelly exhaust, something that we’ve already seen on the 1299 Panigale.

The chassis would also undergo some modifications to accommodate the new V4 engine. Although, the test mule caught on camera was equipped with an underbelly exhaust, something that we’ve already seen on the 1299 Panigale. Incidentally, this video which has managed to capture the new engine’s bare vocals has been shot at Misano, which is also the location where Ducati will make that important announcement in a week’s time. Turn up the volume and enjoy the violent symphony!
