Hero MotoCorp is not known for creating hoo-haa about launching new products in the market. So, Hero MotoCorp launched its new Xtreme 2014 with a slew of cosmetic refinement in a very subtle way. Hero MotoCorp has been known to showcase stunt based advertisement in the past with its Karizma and the Ranbir Kapoor chase sequence along with various Hero MotoCorp motorcycles.
The new Xtreme 2014 remains mechanically identical to the outgoing model and is powered with the same 150cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine that churns out 14.4PS of maximum power and peak toque of 12.8Nm.
This time, the company has opted for a theme that we have seen performed in British comedy series, Mr Bean. In the latest television commercial uploaded on YouTube, Hero MotoCorp has portrayed a guy changing his clothes while riding the new 2014 Xtreme. He reaches his destination only to find his friend still not ready to go. He offers her a helmet which is followed by a sequence showing the girl tying her boot lace.
Throughout the commercial, Hero has displayed various new features and capabilities of the motorcycle.
