Former Miss Thailand contestant Ananyalan Wattananupong ‘Pune’ has aced the opening round of the R2M Superbike Power Girls Professional WS-2 at the Thailand Circuit took victory aboard her Suzuki GSX-R1000.
The series is run in conjunction with the Thai Motorcycle Superbike Championship series. The Ho Racing Team rider Wattananupong claim the top-step of the podium in the eight-lap race and took the lead in the championship with four rounds remaining.
Said Wattananupong set the fastest race-time of 1:28.552 on her second lap. Speaking about her victory, Wattananupong said, “This is my year (2559 B.E.) and 59 is also my number. I made some little changes to the bike in testing, and I did my best; the result is great.”
