Chevrolet has recognized a budding filmmaker from Rajasthan at MOFILM Cannes Awards. Chevrolet has selected five winning films and now owns the digital rights of the films. The film ‘RJ’ will be used by Chevrolet on Mobile and Digital platform.
MOFILM Cannes Video Contest is a part of the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity. The associated brands including Chevrolet developed a brief and the filmmakers submitted the completed film. The filmmakers recruited by MOFILM were given a standard global brief by Chevrolet for the films. The participants were asked to tell a story about someone that demonstrates the spirit of ‘Find New Roads’.
The winner received $8,000 in prize money and a trip to the prestigious awards ceremony in Cannes where he was presented the award by Timothy Mahoney, Chief Marketing Officer, Global Chevrolet. The winner, Deepanshu Malik hails from Rawatbhata, a small town in Rajasthan. Check out the award winning film below. Do let us know your views through the comments section below.
