Hyundai Creta st Anniversary Edition back

Updated 2017 Hyundai Creta to get dual-tone paint job and Apple CarPlay

A runaway success since it was launched about two years ago, the immensely popular Hyundai Creta is about to receive some fresh new updates to soldier on in 2017. However, these additions will only be offered on the 1.6-liter petrol/diesel powered SX+ variant of the compact SUV. Among the updates is a larger screen for the touchscreen infotainment system, which will now support Mirror Link, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The 2017 Hyundai Creta will continue to get features like the LED daytime running lights, 17 inch diamond cut wheels and LED tail lamps. Pricing for the updated Creta will be announced soon.

The compact SUV will also get a new two tone paint-job which is similar to the first anniversary model that was launched last year. Again, the two tone option is only reserved for the top spec variant with a white or red body combined with a black roof. The 2017 Hyundai Creta will also get a sportier interior package as an option on the top spec variants. For those who are over beige, they will now be able to opt for a black and red, two-tone leather package with an all black dashboard.

Just last year, a top of the trim, white Creta AT, which had the distinction of creating history in the Hyundai world by being the 7 millionth car, rolled off the production line at Hyundai Motor India’s facility in Sriperumpudur near Chennai. Going forward, the Korean compact SUV will face some tough competition in the likes of the upcoming Renault Kaptur, Toyota’s C-HR and updated models of its existing competition.
