TVS is all set to launch its new bike on the 6th of July but much to their dismay, the bike has been leaked completely! Contrary to the previous reports, the new motorcycle is not a cruiser and it is not based on the Zeppelin either. The leaked pictures seem to be taken from the official website which is yet to go live. Let’s take a look at the leaked pictures:
What does the leak reveal?
As seen in the leaked pictures, the Ronin is far from being a cruiser. In fact, it is more like a scrambler. The front gets a round headlamp. It gets the T-shaped DRL which was used as a teaser for the bike previously. It gets a muscular tear drop shaped fuel tank with the TVS logo proudly sitting on it. It gets a brushed silver color with contrasting yellow stripes which separates it from the black painted elements. The side panel houses the name ‘Ronin’ and it gets a single-piece brown seat. The back gets a black grab rail for the passenger. The LED taillight is placed on the frame whereas the numberplate and indicators are placed much lower down. Other elements include blacked-out engine and a large single exhuast with a silver tip. Overall, the design is fresh with a lot of modern elements thrown in. In terms of features, we expect the TVS Ronin to come equipped with LED headlights and taillights.

The instrument cluster is expected to feature a TFT screen with TVS SMART XCONNECT which will come with Bluetooth connectivity for navigation, alerts and voice commands. It also expected to be equipped with dual-channel ABS. The chassis is expected to be all new rather than an existing one. It gets multi-spoke alloy wheels in the front and rear which are black in color. Braking duties are taken care of by disc brakes in the front and rear and it is expected to come with dual-channel ABS. It gets gold coloured USD forks in the front and a monoshock at the back. The engine is expected to be all all new unit which will have a displacement of over 200 cc.
