Upcoming BMW cars in India 2014

BMW, the erstwhile leader in the luxury car market of India, has decided to launch a range of new models that would help it to crawl back at the top position it enjoyed. While the car maker has already launched the BMW 3 Series GT in our country (CLICK HERE to read our launch report), here is a list of four upcoming BMW cars  in India 2014 that would soon go on sale in the country.

BMW i8

• Expected Launch Date- November 2014
• Expected Price- INR 1.4 Crores
• Engine- 1.5 litre Petrol + electric motor

BMW i8, high on style and technology, would enter the Indian car market in November 2014. BMW i8 comes with a futuristic powerplant comprising of 1.5 litres electric engine and 129hp electric motor. This dream sports car would go on sale for a whopping 1.4 crores. This decidedly sporty thing is a unique conglomeration of performance and sophistication.

BMW X4

• Expected Launch Date- October 2014
• Expected Price- INR 43-57 lakhs
• Engine- 3.0 litre (petrol), 3.0 litre (diesel)

BMW will soon expand its SUV family in India by the addition ofnew BMW X4. Slotted between X3 and X5, BMW X4 comes with a 3.0 litre petrol engine, with its diesel variant coming with a 3.0 litre diesel engine. Scheduled to be launched this October, this is one of the most awaited luxury cars of 2014. X4 is expected to come with a price of 43 lakhs.

BMW X5

• Expected Launch Date- May 2014
• Expected Price- INR 57-92 lakhs
• Engine- 4.4 litre (petrol), 2.0 litre (diesel), 3.0 litre (diesel)

BMW is also about to launch the all new BMW X5 in Indian car market. The much awaited X5 will set the Indian roads on fire in May 2014. The all new X5 comes with a wide array of new features and the engine options for India include a 4.4 litre petrol engine, 2.0 litre diesel engine and a 3.0 litre six pot diesel engine. Its price would start from INR 57 lakhs onwards and would definitely be a deal worth making.

BMW M6 Gran Coupe

• Expected Price- INR 1.6 Crores
• Engine- 4.4 litre V8 Petrol

The new BMW M6 Gran Coupe launch in India will happen early next month and the new performance tuned M6 Gran Coupe will become one of the sportiest Bimmers to be on sale in the country. The M6 Gran Coupe locks horns with the Audi RS7 and the Mercedes CLS63 AMG and comes with minor visual updates along with a stonker of an engine.
