UNVEILED: 2013 MV Agusta Rivale 800

Words- Harkamal SIngh

Mv Agusta has released the first-ever official image of their upcoming launch which is a Supermotard Style Bike called The Rivale 800.

Powering this Italian beauty is the same 3 pot 798cc motor which does duty on the all new Brutale 800.The Rivale 800 sports a full MVICS (Motor & Vehicle Integrated Control System) package. This system controls the bike’s ride-by-wire throttle, engine mapping, ABS and traction control etc.

The MV Agusta Rivale 800 has a dry weight of just 174 kg. The credit for this goes to the chassis design which is a Hybrid Frame. As claimed by the manufacturer, the Hybrid Frame is a perfect amalgam of the benefits of steel tube trellis and aluminum alloy. As can be made out from the image, the bike seems to sport a serious brake package supplied by the good folks at Brembo. Combined with all other bells and whistles, this new motorcycle should add another dimension to Mv Agusta’s gorgeous line up of two wheelers.

We expect a price tag of 10,990 Euros and a Mid-2013 launch for the new bike.
