UM Motorcycles India, which entered the Indian market through a partnership with Lohia Auto, had started accepting the initial bookings for their motorcycles with a limit of 1,000 units. Now, even as the first set of deliveries are yet to begin, the company has re-opened bookings for the Renegade duo for the second time.
The booking amount stands at Rs. 10,000. For the second batch of bookings that started from May 10 onwards, deliveries of the first 500 units will take place in the month of August while the remaining batch of 500 units are said to be scheduled for delivery in the month of September.
The company is yet to inaugurate its initial batch of dealerships, which is scheduled to take place by the end of May 2016. Test rides for the motorcycles will also reportedly begin within the same period while the deliveries for the first 500 units will follow in the month of June. The remaining 500 units will be delivered in the month of July.

Launched at the 2016 Auto Expo, the Renegade twins are powered by the same 279.5cc 4 stroke, liquid cooled engine that is said to produce a power output of 25 bhp at 8500 rpm while the peak torque of 21.8 Nm comes up at 7000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6 speed transmission that sends power to the rear wheel. While the Renegade Commando comes with a price tag of 1.59 lakhs, the Renegade Sports S can be yours for Rs. 1.49 lakhs (both prices, Ex-Showroom, Delhi).
