Bengaluru-based electric bike maker, Ultraviolette has registered a new trademark X44. From this registration, we can expect that the EV maker is all set to launch the new e-bike after F77.
Details of upcoming Ultraviolette bike
Apart from the trademark registration, there are no specific details about Ultraviolette’s new bike. Currently, there is no clarity about the name and category of the upcoming electric bike.
Meanwhile, The X44 trademark represents that the upcoming electric bike’s name will be adventure oriented. The bike will get an upright stance with raised suspension, large wheels, a powerful setup, and high ground clearance. However, we can expect that this bike could share its underpinnings with the F77.
On the flip side, the X44 could turn out to be a naked urban commuting motorcycle. However, the bike might get a smaller battery, less power, and riding range. With these features, the urban motorcycle will become an affordable package.

We expect that the upcoming bike will share its mechanicals with the Ultraviolette F77. Meanwhile, the F77 is available in 3 variants with different tunings:
The F77 Standard gets the 36.2hp & 85Nm state of tune. This results in 0-100km/h in 8.3 seconds with 140km/h of top speed. However, it offers 206km of riding range.
Meanwhile, the F77 Recon gets the 38.8hp & 95Nm state of tune. This results in 0-100km/h in 8 seconds with 147km/h of top speed and 307km of riding range.
However, the F77 Limited gets the 40.5hp & 100Nm state of tune. This results in 0-100km/h in 7.8 seconds with 152km/h of top speed and 307km of riding range.
About Sales of Ultraviolette F77
Currently, the Ultraviolette has F77 as the only product in its lineup. The pricing of F77 is in the range of Rs. 4.55 Lakhs to Rs. 5.50 Lakhs Ex-showroom. However, only 77 units were made and all of them are sold out.
Meanwhile, the EV maker will start the deliveries of F77 in a phased manner. In the first phase, Ultraviolette will start the F77 deliveries in Bengaluru. The Second Phase will be implemented in Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, and Cochin.
By Q3 of 2023, the Ultraviolette F77 will be available in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Lucknow. However, the deliveries of F77 in cities like Gurugram, Jaipur, Kolkata, Guwahati, and Ludhiana will start in Q4 of 2023.
Pricing and Launch Timeline of Ultraviolette X44
Ultraviolette is preparing for the launch of the new electric bike in the market. Trademarked as X44, this bike might be positioned as a mass-market commuter. Moreover, the X44 will offer a smaller battery pack, motor, and commuting-oriented ergonomics.
With this package, the X44 will help Ultraviolette in rivaling into the mainstream market and business growth. Meanwhile, the expected price range of Ultraviolette X44 is Rs. 2 Lakhs to 2.30 Lakhs Ex-showroom.
The X44 will be an affordable package with much cheaper pricing than the F77. However, it is expected that the X44 could make its debut by next year.
