Royal Enfield has recorded a growth of 30% in their sales figure of September this year as compared to their performance in the same month last year. In September 2016, the bike maker sold 56,958 units in the domestic market and exported 884 units to the overseas market. This, in comparison to the 43,741 units sold in the domestic market and 750 units exported in September 2015 shows a growth of 30% and 18% in the respective categories.

Speaking of the Year-To-Date performance figures, Royal Enfield has sold a total of 3,14,424 units (including domestic sales of 3,07,150 units and 7,274 exported units) till now in 2016. Last year, the company sold a total of 2,34,224 units (including domestic sales of 2,29,538 units and 4,686 exported units) displaying a growth of 34% and 55% in domestic and export segments.

Royal Enfield announces price hike for its complete model range : Details and new prices
In September, Royal Enfield launched their Himalayan motorcycle in Nepal. The new motorcycle is open for booking at Royal Enfield’s exclusive distributor stores in Naxal & Balkumari, Kathmandu, Nepal. In addition, the Happy Socks limited edition range was also unveiled at Royal Enfield brand store in Mumbai. The bike maker created four limited editions of their Continental GT. Adding a new dealership to their list, RE launched a new store at Naraina Vihar, Delhi, namely – Centrum Motorcycles.
In future RE news, the registrations for the Rider Mania 2016 are open. Rider Mania, Royal Enfield’s annual three day event motorcycling will encourage motorcyclists across cities including Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Delhi to draw up their own ride routes to kick off pre- Rider Mania parties pan India.
Also, in October, the Fifth Edition of the ride to this mystical land of the Thunder Dragons, will flag off from Siliguri and riders from across the globe will embark on an epic voyage to uncharted terrains of the Himalayan range. Registrations have begun for this ride to Bhutan, a country that maps its progress via GNH (Gross National Happiness).
