TVS Raider Gets A “Wicked Update”

The TVS Raider brought quite a few segment-first features when it was introduced last year. TVS has gone further and given it some new features. The Raider will now get a new top variant – the Raider SmartXonnect TFT variant which is priced at ₹99,900/- ex-showroom. TVS also introduced us to the TVS Motoverse – a virtual platform where the new Raider was launched.

Adjudged with the IMOTY 2022 title, the TVS Raider is now entering its next phase with the TVS Raider SmartXonnectTM TFT variant, which takes our commitment to delight and wow our customers, a step ahead. This variant adds to the motorcycle’s charm with a lot more first-in-class connected features, including a TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, voice assist and more.  With this update, TVS Raider will continue its wicked ride as the preferred choice of GenZ.”

What’s New?

The TVS Raider SmartXonnect TFT gets a new 5-inch TFT display which gets an exclusive mobile application. The Raider gets a new voice assist feature which will play welcome prompts, turn by turn navigation prompts and will also be able to tell you the weather, game scores, and will also play music. All of this is played through a small speaker that has been added to the motorcycle. It also enables users to use the SmartXonnect features on the Raider. Riders will also be able to get ride data through the companion app. A suite of 60+ digital features has been added. The Raider is the first two-wheeler to get voice-assisted features. These voice assist features can be activated using a dedicated button on the handlebar.

What’s Same?

The changes are limited only to the features of the motorcycle. The rest of the motorcycle has not been changed. It gets the same styling elements and colour options. The 124.8 CC air-cooled engine also remains, still putting out 11.3 HP and 11.2 Nm torque. The ride quality and handling will also be the same.

Overall, the new variant of the Raider has to be the most advanced 125 CC motorcycle on the market.
