Ahead of India’s 78th Independence Day, TVS Motor Company has introduced a special edition of its iQube electric scooter. Priced at Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom), the TVS iQube Celebration Edition is based on the 3.4kWh variant. The Celebration Edition is also available in the S variant, priced at Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Limited to just 1,000 units, bookings for this exclusive edition will open tomorrow, August 15, with deliveries set to begin on August 26.
Design and Visual Updates
The TVS iQube Celebration Edition features unique visual enhancements, including a dual-tone color scheme. The front of the electric scooter is primarily finished in orange, while the side panels and rear sport a greyish-black hue. Additional design touches include a small India flag above the LED DRLs and a ‘Celebration Edition’ badge, setting it apart from the standard models.
Performance and Specifications
Mechanically, the TVS iQube Celebration Edition remains unchanged from the regular iQube. It is powered by a 3.4kWh battery paired with a 6 bhp electric motor, enabling the scooter to accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 4.2 seconds, with a top speed of 78 km/h. The battery offers a claimed range of 100 km on a single charge. Using a 650W charger, the iQube can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes. The scooter also offers two riding modes – Power and Economy.
TVS is set to launch the new Jupiter 110 scooter in India on August 22. With its unique styling and limited availability, the TVS iQube Celebration Edition offers a distinct choice for those looking to celebrate Independence Day with a touch of exclusivity.
