TVS & Apollo Tyres achieves National Record: Clocking 3,657kms in 24 Hours!

One of the renowned 2-wheeler manufacturers, TVS Motors has teamed up with Apollo Tyres for achieving the national speed record. To achieve the new National Speed Record, the team used the TVS Apache RR 310 motorcycle paired with Apollo tyres. This milestone achieved by TVS and Apollo Tyres was certified by the renowned motorsport organization, FMSCI.

TVS Apache’s Performance in Speed Endurance Challenge

In the Speed Endurance Challenge, the TVS Apache RR310 motorcycle was used. However, this bike was mated to the Apollo Alpha H1 set of tyres and has a race-derived engine with 34hp of power. This results in unleashing its potential at the top speed of 173 km/h while the average speed was 152 km/h. The motorcycle achieved the speed record due to its aerodynamic and edgy design reducing drag coefficient and balancing the downforce.

This performance depicts the efforts of both renowned automobile brands in establishing a new national speed record. And this milestone depicts the TVS’ commitment towards the ‘Track to Road’ philosophy and winning the hearts of enthusiasts.

About the 24-hour Speed Endurance Challenge

The 24-hour Speed Endurance Challenge is an attempt by the TVS and Apollo Tyres to achieve a new National Speed Record. For this challenge, a team was created consisting of 18 riders who relayed on 3 TVS Apache RR 310 motorcycles. Moreover, the Apache RR 310 motorcycle was mated to the Apollo Alpha H1 set of tyres.

The challenge began on July 2, 2023, at 10 AM. In this challenge, 18 riders participated by riding 3 motorcycles in a relay fashion. These riders have successfully completed a total of 322 laps at an impressive average speed of 152 km/h. However, the top speed recorded during this challenge was 173 km/h with a total distance of 3,657 kilometres in just 24 hours. This exceptional performance resulted in the challenge earning its place in the India Book of Records.
